We are pleased to share that we will now offer prayer each week during the church’s community food distribution ministry. As volunteers gather to serve families throughout the community, weekly prayers will provide encouragement, reflection, and spiritual support for all who attend.

The food distribution ministry has long been more than a place to receive groceries. It has become a space where compassion, dignity, and community come together. Through weekly prayer, participants and volunteers alike are reminded that care for one another includes both physical and spiritual nourishment.

Our commitment to praying over the ministry each week reflects New Hope’s ongoing mission to serve the community with faith in action. Prayers will lift up families facing hardship, volunteers dedicating their time to serve, and the broader hope for healing, unity, and strength throughout Orange County.

In a time when many people are carrying heavy burdens, these moments of prayer offer reassurance that no one walks alone. Through simple acts of kindness, shared faith, and consistent presence, the ministry continues to embody hope for the community week after week.
