New Hope Orange County Orchestra: Where Hope Resounds

In 2024, New Hope launched the New Hope Orange County Orchestra (NHOCO) in partnership with renowned conductors, Charles Dickerson and Dwayne Burrell, from the Inner City Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles. This groundbreaking orchestra is the first in Orange County to be composed entirely of musicians of color, starting from the tender age of 5 and up.

No Auditions, No Pressure: We believe that every aspiring musician deserves a chance to shine. That’s why we welcome players of all skill levels without auditions.

Free of Charge: Experience the joy of music without the burden of tuition fees.

Mentorship: Advanced players mentor those less experienced, and seasoned mentor-artists rehearse and perform with the orchestra, accelerating the learning process for everyone involved.

Performance Opportunities: Performances range from formal concerts to community events, providing diverse platforms for musicians to showcase their talents.

Donations Accepted: We need ongoing support to keep the orchestra free of charge for participants.
